Adickxon Trejo will be in the finals of the men's artistic gymnastics of Suramericans Santa Fe 2026

The Venezuelan gymnast Adickxon Trejo signed an outstanding participation in the start of men's artistic gymnastics in the XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026, after securing his qualification for the individual finals of horses with reasons and soil.

On the day corresponding to the individual all-around, held at the Invincible Arena in the city of Rosario, Trejo completed a task that placed him in tenth place in the general classification of the multidisciplinary sports event with a score of 73,300, sealing his ticket to the fight for medals.

Trejo recorded a solid score of 12,900 in the horse with arzones and 12,650 in the ground routine, specialties whose finals by apparatus will be played in the same Rosario venue between Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 September.

For its part, the tricolor representation suffered a setback with the participation of Sebastián Torres, who was unable to complete the competition circuit (DNF), while the overall podium of the event was led by the Colombian Thomas Mejías with the gold (78,750), accompanied by the Brazilians Diogo Brajao with the silver (78,600) and Patrick Sampaio with the bronze (78,050).
