Airlift guarantees delivery of national humanitarian aid in remote areas

From the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base, an airlift for humanitarian aid has been established by Venezuelans, which guarantees the timely delivery of national supplies to the families most affected by the contingency of the earthquakes of last June 24

Through audiovisual material released by the Sectorial Vice President of Communication and Culture, Miguel Ángel Pérez Pirela, the humanitarian work of Venezuelans, who with national supplies provide assistance to victims of earthquakes, which expresses brotherhood and national solidarity, was evidenced.

From La Carlota Air Base, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) transports humanitarian aid from all corners of the country, as well as contributions from private companies. These shipments are transported by air to the communities with the greatest impact that do not have access by land.

According to the published material, more than six thousand security personnel, firefighters, civil protection and national volunteers work from these spaces to ensure support for families affected by earthquakes in that area.
