The Venezuelan delegation continues to win victories on the continental mat, and this time, the outstanding Creole judoka Anriquelis Barrios climbed to the top of the podium in the women's -63 kg category.
Barrios won the gold medal after dominating the local representative, Argentina's Agustina De Lucia, for Waza-ari.
In the semifinal phase at Tatami 2 of the Invincible Rosario venue, the Venezuelan faced the Brazilian Pietra Estrela and with tempera and precision she won the Waza-ari route at the end of the regular 4:00 minutes.
