Beirut pays tribute to child victims of Israeli aggression and rejects agreements with Tel Aviv

With commemorative events and community interventions in the Lebanese capital, family members, social movements and citizens remembered in Beirut the hundreds of children who died as a result of continuous Israeli military aggression against the nation, while ratifying their categorical rejection of any type of agreement, pact or concession with the Israeli regime.

During the meetings organized in various parts of the city, the attendees paid tribute to the fallen children, raising slogans in defense of national sovereignty and denouncing the serious humanitarian crisis caused by the bombings carried out by Zionist aviation and artillery on residential areas of the country.

According to official data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the continuous Israeli aggressions recorded in recent months have claimed the lives of more than 3,400 people throughout the Lebanese territory, a figure that tragically includes more than 800 boys and girls.

In addition, the convening organizations expressed their repudiation of attempts to impose diplomatic or security arrangements that compromise the territorial integrity of Lebanon or contemplate the arming and demobilization of local resistance forces in the face of an enemy presence.

The demonstrators demanded an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional withdrawal of the occupying troops and strict compliance with international law to ensure the effective protection of children and the civilian population.
