The Belarusian government escalated diplomatic tension following the attack in the Russian region of Bryansk against a bus carrying a children's delegation. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has not hesitated to describe the incident as a “terrorist act against civilians”, demanding immediate and exhaustive explanations from Kiev about the incursion that directly affected minors.
The impact, which occurred during the vehicle's transit through Russian territory, has provoked a strong response from the Minsk authorities. The foreign ministry spokesman, Ruslan Varankov, confirmed that the seriousness of the event has forced a rise in the level of diplomatic response, seeking clarification of the circumstances under which an attack was allowed on a route where civilians were traveling.
In parallel with the diplomatic channel, the Belarusian Investigative Committee has activated the corresponding criminal protocols. A commission of investigators is already at the scene, working in coordination with their Russian counterparts to collect evidence to determine the authorship and planning behind this attack, a move that underlines Minsk's intention to bring the case to international bodies.
This episode marks a new point of friction in the already complex border situation. While investigative teams are processing the scene, the Belarusian government maintains pressure on Ukraine, making it clear that it considers this event a direct violation of the integrity of its civilian population, a fact that, in Minsk's view, cannot be left without a clear answer or judicial consequences.
