Binational alliance between Bolivar state and India strengthened

Governor of the state of Bolivar, Yulisbeth García, received at Manuel Piar International Airport, in the municipality of Caroní, the ambassador of the Republic of India in Venezuela, P.K. Ashok Babu, with the objective of strengthening diplomatic, economic and cultural cooperation. The reception was attended by mayors Alonzo Yanny, Sergio Hernández and Ornella Valentina Arbeláez, in addition to the delegation of the Asian diplomatic representation.

Regarding the axes of cooperation and the commitment to the guidelines of the National Executive to promote sustainability in the Bolivar state, Governor Yulisbeth García stressed: “We confirm our commitment and willingness to work for the balance between economic growth, social development and environmental protection to keep the spirit of Gandhi alive, this is the instruction we have received from our President Delcy Rodríguez. We are very happy with this visit, which marks the path of many projects, tourism and the men and women who make Bolivar a Land of Encounter”.

During the meeting, the authorities held an exchange of gifts with samples of the region's mining, logging and agricultural potential, while the international delegation presented a bibliographic jewel on Indian photographic art, in order to support the local business sector and advance tourism and productive plans.
