Blow to terrorism! Security forces guarantee the peace and tranquility of the people

Officials of State security agencies are deployed throughout Venezuela to guarantee the peace and tranquility of the people, as instructed by President Nicolás Maduro; this was stated by the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, regarding the dismantling of the terrorist plans of sectors of the extreme right linked to drug trafficking and criminal gangs.

At a press conference, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also denounced that these sectors of the extreme right intended to detonate an explosive device in Plaza Venezuela; this was not possible “thanks to the State security agencies that have been following each one in detail”.

In the same framework of providing protection to the People and dismantling the plans of the fascist extreme right, in Monagas state, after intelligence work in perfect Popular-Military-Police Fusion, warehouses were found with large quantities of hollow charges, detonating cords, electric detonators and fuels of different types.

“Those responsible for this are directly linked to the opposition extremism led by Mrs. María Corina Machado,” he warned and reaffirmed that in the face of the violent plans of these sectors, security agencies will continue to work for peace in the country.
