Bolivarian Government announces activation of cargo train from Carabobo to Portuguesa and Lara

The Minister of Popular Power for Transport, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, reported that soon the national government will make available to the population a freight train that will depart from the state of Carabobo to Portuguesa and Lara.

From his social media account, he announced that “very soon our Bolivarian Government will make available to the people the cargo train that will depart from Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, to the Batalla de Araure Intermodal Terminal in the state of Portuguesa and Barquisimeto, in the state of Lara”.

The minister added that this mechanism seeks to facilitate the transfer of cargo, taking place in a comfortable, economic and smooth manner.

In his publication, the holder of the country's transport portfolio presented a video of the said freight train as it traveled along a track.
