The Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology organized a strategic meeting between the Zuliano Institute Foundation for Technological Research (INZIT) and the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) to evaluate tropical agriculture projects with priority on cocoa crops.

The institutions coordinated actions aimed at providing direct technical solutions to the peasant sector in the Andean and Zulian regions, so the work teams agreed to initiate controlled field tests with the biotechnological product BioInzit to measure its effectiveness in crop performance.

In addition, the specialists will carry out soil studies and sampling in productive plots on the bordering axis, guaranteeing accurate diagnoses and rigorous support to local producers.

Ministerial spokespersons highlighted the importance of these initiatives through their official channels under the institutional premise of applying scientific knowledge to productive development. “Science and technology for cacao production!” , highlighted the ministerial portfolio by reiterating the State's commitment to applied research and national food sovereignty .
