Bolivarian Government maintains rehabilitation work in six schools in Caracas and Miranda

The Bolivarian Government is making progress in the recovery of six educational institutions in Caracas and Miranda through a joint deployment of the Ministry of Public Works and the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), with a view to the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

Among the schools served are the E.B.D. Josefina Daviot and the Liceo Andrés Bello, in La Candelaria, whose works exceed 35% of execution. Also participating are the U.E.N. Amelia Cocking, in San Bernardino; the U.E. Central America, in Macarao; the Liceo Simón Rodríguez, in El Recreo, and the Liceo José Antonio Calcaño, in Turumo-Caucagüita, Miranda, a note from Úlmas Noticias.

The work includes structural repairs and general conditioning of classrooms and other spaces, as part of the actions to recover the school infrastructure affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

Technical teams and community crews will continue to deploy continuously until the works are completed and ensure that the schools included in the plan are ready to return to school.
