Brazil delivers 150 water purifiers for temporary camps in La Guaira and Caracas

Venezuela, through the Ministry of the People's Power of Water, received 150 water purification devices delivered by the Embassy of Brazil and these equipment will be installed in temporary camps in La Guaira and Caracas to serve the population affected by the earthquakes of June 24.
The Brazilian ambassador to Venezuela, Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, said that the operation was carried out on the instructions of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and stated that “we are brother peoples, friends, we have had our tragedies and now we are here to provide care for the Venezuelan people.”
As published on the Ministry's website, the devices work with solar energy and strengthen the State's capacity to guarantee safe water in areas hit by the emergency and their installation seeks to prevent dehydration and disease outbreaks in the camps.
