Bryant Alamo won the silver at Jurgen Berodt's international athletics tournament

The sprinter Bryant Álamo opened the Venezuelan medal table on Bolivian soil by climbing to second place on the 60-meter podium, in the “Jurgen Berodt” match, a competition that takes place prior to the South American Indoor Championship in Cochabamba.
Álamo charted his way to the podium after qualifying in the first series, where he aimed for third place with a time of 6.67 seconds. Later, in a close final of the final round, the Venezuelan clocked his personal best record of 6.65, which credited him with the silver metal.
The race was dominated by the Brazilian Felipe Barbosa with 6.64 and in third place was the Colombian Jesús Abello with 6.66 seconds. Meanwhile, the Venezuelan Eubrig Maza finished in the fifth rung of the race with 6.79.
