Cabello said that former GNB officer Gómez Morante has direct ties to “Almost Venezuela”

This Wednesday, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, in statements to the press, expanded information on the dismantling and neutralization of terrorist groups that intended to sabotage the elections of last Sunday, May 25.

“A person of Serbian origin (Sharov Rumen) with drug trafficking links was captured in the East of the country, linked to the financing mechanism. In the accounts, more than 1 billion dollars; we have dismantled a gang of kidnappers whose main mission was to kidnap and attack family members of officials,” he said.

Likewise, El Cabello stressed that the former officer of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), Arturo José Gómez Morante, is one of the criminals involved in the kidnappings that have recently taken place in the west of the country.
