The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil thanked Panama for sending humanitarian aid to address the emergency that the country is experiencing after the double earthquake of last June 24.
From his telegram channel, he posted “the solidarity of the Republic of Panama has been welcomed with deep gratitude by the Venezuelan Government and people, who today benefit from a significant show of support and fraternity from nations of the world.”
He also stated, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, that “we sincerely thank you for sending this cargo of humanitarian aid, which arrived this Tuesday and will be distributed to those who need it most.”
