CANTV brought fiber-optic telecommunications services to 600 users on January 23

The Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) made an important breakthrough in the 23 de Enero parish of Caracas, bringing its Aba Ultra fiber optic service to the homes of more than 600 users, as well as businesses and public institutions in the Monte Piedad sector.
According to a press release from the company, the activation of the state-of-the-art network guarantees users high-speed connectivity, in addition to the offer of complementary services such as Aba TV GO (streaming television) and IP Telephony.
During a deployment of CANTV technical staff in this Caracas parish, the Ultra Zone was also inaugurated in Plaza 4F in La Planicie, this new public space offers free high-speed Internet to residents of January 23, who can connect to Wi-Fi by scanning a QR code.
In addition, a service point was installed to provide information and immediate support to users.
Leila de Mejías, expressed her satisfaction with the 100% fiber-optic services provided by Cantv in her area: “Now my grandson can enjoy his favorite programs on the children's channels of Aba TV GO, I carry out my academic research with the speed of Aba Ultra and I can talk to my mother through IP telephony. We are very grateful to the Company's team for making this possible.”
These actions are linked to the national expansion plan of Cantv, which seeks to guarantee the right to telecommunications and the digital inclusion of the popular sectors of the capital city through technological modernization.
