The agenda of the Carnival in Peace 2026 in the city of Caracas developed phenomenally, allowing the people of Caracas, as well as visitors, to enjoy festivities in peace and security, as stated by the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández.
Fernández highlighted that the agenda involved cultural, musical, recreational and sports activities in various public spaces in the capital city, including Paseo Los Próceres, Plaza La Juventud, among others. In addition, he emphasized the execution of the “Community Carnivals” that were established in the 299 communes and communities of the region.
“We can say that every agenda we developed was a total success, the carnivals in Caracas have changed. The community approach generated new organizational elements that we will continue to incorporate. From now on, we are establishing dynamics to strengthen the planning of Carnival 2027,” he said.
In addition, he highlighted that the festivities were designed for shared enjoyment and the enhancement of local identity: “We have given an element of our own to these dates to manifest culture and idiosyncrasy, leaving behind violence and disorder.”
