Chancellor Gil: International aid is a sign of cooperation and brotherhood in times of contingency

The foreign minister, Yván Gil, assured that the International Aid Reception Center, located in the state of La Guaira, is a sign of cooperation and brotherhood in times of contingency.

During an inspection at the international aid reception center, he said that “more than 2,000 tons of international aid have arrived, which is processed by this management, the General Staff, a single authority, and then it is directed to collection centers, hospitals, educational centers and places where the affected population is treated.”

In addition, he pointed out that “all this is combined with the titanic effort made by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Fisheries and Health, bringing supplies for the population.”

He also explained that foreign cooperation has the deployment of more than 3,500 specialized brigade members, “doing a great job”.
