The second edition of the Ciudad Mural Festival takes place from this Tuesday to August 16 in La Asunción, Nueva Esparta state, with the participation of national and international artists and organized communities.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, 10 muralists will intervene on the walls of the emblematic Colonial Bridge using different artistic techniques.
In addition, the works will be accompanied by chroniclers and local historians to preserve characters and events linked to Neo-Spartan history in the murals.
The mayor of the Arismendi municipality, Ali Romero, stressed that the initiative seeks to strengthen the entity's identity and cultural values through urban art.
This edition also pays tribute to the Neo-Spartan visual artist Eduardo “Lalo” Acosta, as part of a program aimed at promoting local talent and recovering public spaces.
