Claudia Sheinbaum deploys cabinet in Sinaloa to reinforce security and social development

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced a comprehensive care plan for the state of Sinaloa that contemplates the indefinite stay of the Armed Forces in the region and the weekly transfer of their entire ministerial cabinet, with the purpose of carrying out direct actions in the fields of agriculture, education, energy and social welfare.

During an official activity with Governor Graciela Domínguez, the head of state rejected any attempt at foreign interference to address the situation of violence in the country. In his speech, he defended national sovereignty and confirmed that cooperation for development and attention to structural causes constitute the way to consolidate peace.

The immediate action plan contemplates the allocation of an extraordinary budget for the entity, as well as the extension of the subsidy to the electricity rate. In addition, in the educational and community area, the construction of 20 preparatory schools and new sports spaces is planned, together with the reactivation of direct support programs aimed at young people and local agricultural producers.

The strategy seeks to articulate the capacities of the central administration with local authorities to strengthen the social fabric and promote economic recovery in the area.
