Commander Chávez: We are willing for the Bolivar and Zamora Revolution to triumph

On February 20, 2009, the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías, emphasized that the revolutionary forces were ready for the triumph of the Revolution initiated by the Father of the Fatherland , Simon Bolivar; and the General of the People, Ezequiel Zamora.

“The children of Zamora, the children of B or Lívar, and now if it's true, that we are willing for the Bolivar Revolution to triumph, for the Revolution of Zamora forever. Now, yes, we came here to triumph, so that the Venezuelan people take their rightful place, so that the Venezuelan homeland occupies its rightful place”, highlighted from Coro, Falcón state.

He also took the opportunity to remember the memorable Battle of Saint Agnes. “Zamora, leading the people as an army, defeated the oligarchy. He defeated the historic and traitorous oligarchy, there in the sheets of Barinas, on the southern bank of the Santo Domingo River,” he recalled.
