In a work session dedicated to refining strategies for the year 2026, the Technical Committee for Analysis and Decision-making of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) evaluated the effectiveness of the plans implemented and outlines new goals for the National Electricity System (SEN).

The meeting, led by the Minister for Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, was held at the facilities of the Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium and focused on planning tasks related to the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, aimed at maintaining the favorable rates achieved in the last year.

Precisely, thanks to sustained preventive and corrective maintenance maneuvers, including comprehensive adjustments carried out by specialized technical personnel, more than four thousand megawatts were incorporated into the SEN. This significant advance boosts the country's productive development, being the starting point for new goals that call for the participation of the private sector.

According to a press release, these review days are being carried out permanently in accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, as part of the actions defined in the Plan for the Homeland of the 7T: the Great Transformations towards 2030.
