Cuba offers assistance to Colombia and expresses condolences for the victims of the earthquake in Chocó

The Government of Cuba expressed its condolences to Colombia on Monday after the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that hit the department of Chocó, while making its support available to the South American country to deal with the emergency.

The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, conveyed his condolences for the human losses, injuries and severe material damage in the affected region, formally expressing the island's support in the face of the humanitarian crisis.

“The brotherly Colombian people can count on Cuba's solidarity and willingness in these moments of pain,” Rodríguez added.
