Fatalities recorded in southern Lebanon after Israeli drone attack in Nabatieh

At least two young people died this Friday after an air attack carried out by an Israeli Zionist armed forces drone against the motorcycle they were riding in the town of Nabatieh, in southern Lebanon. According to reports released by the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN), the direct impact of the projectile caused the immediate death of both occupants at the scene of the event.

The bombing coincided with statements by the Zionist Defense Minister, Israel Katz, who officially announced the military takeover of Ali Taher's crest. This strategic mountain elevation is considered a key point for consolidating operational control in the security zone of southern Lebanon, where Israeli troops have intensified their incursions and ground operations.

This new attack is in addition to the prolonged military offensive affecting the Arab country. According to the most recent balance sheet issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the sum of the Israeli incursions and bombings accounts for a total of 4,353 people killed and more than 12,323 injured since March 2.

The persistence of these armed actions keeps communities in southern Lebanon in extreme tension, in the midst of a scenario of continuous violence that impacts both strategic objectives and the civilian population.
