Foreign Minister Gil: Venezuela will not recognize external verdicts and will continue to defend its sovereignty

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yvan Gil, reiterated, during the Conference on the Territorial Dispute surrounding Guiana Essequiba, that Venezuela will not recognize any decision about this territory that is dictated by external institutions.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil reaffirmed his congratulations to “the legal and diplomatic team that defended Guiana Essequiba before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and that was decorated by President (E) Delcy Rodríguez with the Order of Liberators and Liberators of Venezuela in its three classes”.

During the conference, Gil highlighted the work of collecting documents and the solid legal strategy deployed by the Venezuelan State to demonstrate, with irrefutable arguments before the international community, the legitimate rights of the nation over the territory of Guiana Essequiba.
