From encouraging migration to criminalizing Venezuelans abroad

Since 2011, imperialism and the Venezuelan extreme right have maintained a narrative, a campaign, to stimulate the migration of compatriots and try to obtain resources by trying to sell the idea that they are refugees.

But while they stimulate the “flight” of compatriots, on the other hand, supposed “leaders” such as María Corina Machado, Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, have promoted a narrative that seeks to link our compatriots to criminal gangs or sell them as “a danger to the region”.
