Government awards Hero of Venezuela to Spanish rescuers and dog brigade

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, highlighted the awarding of decorations by the Venezuelan State to the Spanish rescue brigades, as well as to that country's canine rescue and rescue brigade that participated in the search for survivors of the earthquakes of June 24.

“In recognition of their courageous, tireless and supportive service in the search and saving of lives, as well as in the reunification of families and the renewal of hope, we have presented the Heroes of Venezuela Award, on behalf of the President in Charge Delcy Rodríguez, to the rescue brigade and their rescue dogs, after completing their admirable work in Venezuela. All the Venezuelan people express their sincerest gratitude to them from the bottom of their hearts,” wrote the foreign minister who accompanied his words with a video on his Telegram account.
