Government of Caracas promotes urban rehabilitation plan in several parishes

The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, reported on the deployment of the urban rehabilitation plan in multiple parishes in Caracas.

On social media, he stressed that “we don't stop. The Office of Public Services, Infrastructure and Roads of the Government of Caracas maintains a total deployment in the capital's parishes, meeting first-hand the needs of infrastructure, educational spaces and services of our communities.”

In this sense, the publication specifies that the rehabilitation plan has been deployed in multiple parishes, guaranteeing the well-being of the residents of the capital who were affected by the double earthquake that occurred last June 24.

Rehabilitation of Buildings and Infrastructures:

El Recreo: Lincoln, Yumar and Armo buildings.

La Candelaria: Rostol and Vermont buildings, El Centro Residences and Iberia building.

Altagracia: OPPPE 04 — Light and Hope, and Tribilin building.

San José (OPPPE 02), San Juan (Bldg. Tiuna), San Bernardino (Bldg. Pan Avila) and Macarao (Copei Neighborhood).


Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Educational Units:

U.E.N. Mercedes Limardo (Antimano)

U.E.N. Guiana Esequiba (Caricuao)

U.E. John Paul II (Sucre)


Major Works and Roads:

La Pastora: Construction of a new road on the Camino de los Españoles.

January 23: Construction of the Self-Government Room in Sierra Maestra.

El Paraíso and El Junquito: Controlled demolitions and adaptation of risky structures.


Urban Maintenance and Services:

La Vega and El Valle: Weeding, emergency pruning and mission base maintenance.

San Martín Avenue/Plaza O'Leary: Cleaning and waste collection in high-traffic areas.
