Government of Monagas improved drinking water service to 500 families in Maturín

The Government of Monagas state, through the company Aguas de Monagas, installed 15 hp submersible equipment in sector II of Los Cortijos, Las Cocuizas parish of the Maturín municipality, for the benefit of 500 families.

According to the press release from the Government, maintenance work was carried out on the site with continuous air injection, followed by the installation of a 20 hp engine and a 15 hp pump, in order to reactivate the water flow in the Los Cortijos II, Piñita Villedo, Cortijo Central and Santa Mónica I sectors of the Las Cocuizas parish.

“In addition, the electrical components of the control panel of this water supply unit in the sector were verified, verifying their effectiveness and the start-up of the equipment that will serve more than 500 families from these communities in the municipality,” the Government reported.
