The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), with the support of the government of Monagas and the mayor of the Ezequiel Zamora municipality, successfully completed a comprehensive medical day in the indigenous community of Kaputano, located to the west of the state of Monagua.
The activity was carried out for the benefit of 172 children and adults from the indigenous community, who received care in general medicine and pediatric offices, in addition to counseling and family education.
In this regard, the director of the Comprehensive Community Health Area (ASIC) Ezequiel Zamora, Dr. Milagros Mendoza, assured that this operation is the product of the institutional effort between the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro, under the supervision of Minister Magaly Gutiérrez and Governor Ernesto Luna.
“It is essential that our indigenous communities, especially our boys and girls, feel valued and supported, which reinforces our commitment to the development of indigenous peoples,” he said.
