The Venezuelan athlete Jimena Domínguez assured her participation in the 42nd edition of the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, an event of the highest international demand that takes place from August 13 to 16 at the Festhalle in the city of Frankfurt, Germany.

The Venezuelan athlete will compete in the senior individual category under the technical direction of coach Elena Nikolashkina, facing the best exponents on the planet in an event organized by World Gymnastics that will grant three direct qualification places for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

This important sporting event represents a strategic step in the Olympic cycle for the young promise of the discipline, who has just signed an outstanding performance at the 25th Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 after winning the silver medal in the team category.
