. The Haitian peasant movement Tèt Kole Ti Peyizan Ayisyen commemorates four decades of organizational history and struggle to defend the rights of small farmers and rural communities in Haiti.
Founded in the 1980s, the organization maintains its work through local assemblies and dynamic social mobilization in the search for food sovereignty, agrarian reform and the improvement of living conditions in the countryside.
The commemoration takes place in the midst of an adverse political and economic context in the country, where the group confirms its commitment to peasant resistance in the face of structural inequalities and the humanitarian crisis affecting the national territory.
Throughout its 40 years of coordination, Tèt Kole Ti Peyizan Ayisyen has established itself as a reference for the Haitian social movement and agrarian trade unionism, promoting community solidarity and the defense of the territory in the face of productive and social challenges in the region.
