In Aragua! Plan “Venezuela Renace” delivered construction supplies to 40 families affected by the earthquake in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro

In response to the contingencies suffered in different states of the country, the National, Regional and Local Government carried out the formal delivery of construction materials to 40 families in the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast of Aragua whose homes were damaged after the earthquake that occurred last June 24.

According to a press release, during the activity, essential supplies for housing repairs were directly dispatched, including blocks, zinc sheets and cement bags, aimed at recovering roofs, walls and structures compromised in the homes served.

The mayor of that town in Aragueña, Wilmer Leal, highlighted the importance of working together between the different levels of government to provide a timely response to affected communities.

“Thanks to the perfect coordination with our Bolivarian Government and the Venezuela Renace Plan, today we are giving a concrete answer to our people. We don't leave any affected family alone; we work tirelessly for the reconstruction and dignity of Ocumare's homes,” said Leal.

The team of the Mayor's Office of Ocumare de la Costa de Oro and the risk management bodies will maintain technical support and continuous supervision in the beneficiary sectors to ensure the proper development of the refurbishment of family infrastructures.
