Israel intensifies its operations over southern Lebanon with violent night bombings

Israel continued its attacks against southern Lebanon for the fifth consecutive night, causing the death of several people and serious destruction in populated areas. The military escalation keeps the region on high alert in the face of the continuous increase in air and ground incursions.

The Israeli fighters and artillery directed their offensives towards the heights of Ali al-Taher, Dabsha Hill and the Dawhet Kfar Rumman sector, located in the Nabatieh district. The impacts directly affected the elevated areas and sectors surrounding the communities of the province.

In parallel, Merkava tanks opened fire on houses in the towns of al-Mansouri and Sarbin. The attack left 11 people dead, including three children and two women belonging to the same family.

Local sources also reported the use of incendiary and white phosphorus munitions during military operations, specifying that Ali al-Taher's crest was hit by this type of projectile.
