Israel orders the occupying army to prepare for a “total war” in the West Bank

The Minister of Military Affairs of the Zionist State of Israel, Israel Katz, together with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ordered the occupying army to prepare a “total war” against the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the occupied West Bank, intensifying the policy of war aggression and extermination in the Palestinian territories.

The directives emanating from the top of the Tel Aviv regime threaten to destroy local political and administrative infrastructure. In this regard, the head of the Zionist military apparatus openly threatened, declaring that “we have given instructions to the army to launch an all-out war against the senior officials and mechanisms of the Authority”, opening a new chapter of direct hostility.

According to the projections drawn up by the occupying regime, the military plan contemplates the execution of selective assassinations against local leaders and the forced displacement of the civilian population, reissuing the methods of mass devastation applied in the Gaza Strip and in southern Lebanon.

Faced with the expansionist onslaught, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas condemned State terrorism and violence carried out by armed settlers, calling on the people to defend the sovereignty of their land in the face of what it denounced as a “systematic policy” of illegal annexation and ethnic cleansing.

The new military threat posed by the Zionist State deepens the severe humanitarian crisis in the West Bank, where the population suffers daily armed incursions, house demolitions and the arbitrary dispossession of their historic territories in flagrant violation of international law.
