An incursion by Israeli Zionist forces into the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, in southern Lebanon, killed two civilians and left one injured. This incident represents the first fatality violation recorded since the ceasefire agreement came into effect last Sunday.

According to the official Lebanese news agency, the victims were hit by gunfire from the Israeli army while carrying out cleaning work on a local road.

After the event, the Hezbollah group described the action as a “treacherous act” and warned that the attack constitutes a flagrant violation of the terms of the cessation of hostilities.

The aggression in Nabatieh al-Fawqa was not an isolated event in the last few hours; additional drone attacks and the launch of stun grenades were also reported at various locations in the districts of Nabatieh and Bint Jbeil, raising tension again in the border region.
