Israeli forces carry out simultaneous attacks in rural areas of Syria and occupied Palestine

On Monday, the Israeli armed forces carried out a series of simultaneous military aggressions directed against rural localities in the south of the Syrian Arab Republic and various parts of occupied Palestine, leaving fatalities and material damage.

On Syrian territory, artillery attacked with projectiles the Abidin and Al-Raqad valleys, the immediate vicinity of the town of Jamla in the Yarmouk basin, as well as wooded areas in Bir Ajam and areas of Al-Rafid, in the Quneitra governorate. According to reports from the official SANA agency, the actions involved shooting from the line of separation, violating the 1974 agreement supervised by the United Nations (UN).

In parallel, the occupying troops carried out military incursions into the occupied West Bank, carrying out searches and inspections using live ammunition in towns such as Tuqu, Ramallah and Jenin, which resulted in the arrest of two people, including a minor. Alongside the military action, there were attacks by Israeli settler groups against the Palestinian civilian population and their vehicles in the vicinity of Nablus and Ramallah.

In the Gaza Strip, the most recent bombings killed at least four Palestinians, including a child. According to updated accounts from the enclave's Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths as a result of the military offensive that began in October 2023 exceeds 73,900 people.
