The president of Plan Venezuela Renace, Jacqueline Fanía, explained that to date, a total of 52,664 inspections have been carried out in the seven states affected by the double earthquake.
From the Operations Control Center, in the state of La Guaira, Fanía explained that during the deployment the field teams were evaluated the structures.
Faria highlighted that 59% of the buildings evaluated in the national territory obtained the green label, confirming their status as habitable properties for the safe return of the population.
In the specific case of La Guaira, the authorities completed 15,888 inspections, determining 58% in the green category, 23% in the yellow label and a total of 5,051 structures classified in red.
Of the red figure, 967 buildings collapsed and 4,084 are in a second phase of diagnosis to specify their demolition or rehabilitation, under the coordination of the Presidential Commission for the Evaluation of Infrastructure Habitability, led by Francisco Garcés.
