LATAM Airlines Colombia announced that it will reopen the Bogota-Caracas route from September 4, with three weekly flights on Monday, Friday and Saturday.
“Venezuela is a relevant market because of its dynamics and the potential connection it offers with the rest of the region,” said Erika Zarante, CEO of Latam Airlines Colombia, explaining the importance of reactivating this operation.
Ticket sales will begin on August 29 on the airline's channels and travel agencies, Radio Miraflores reported.
The schedule establishes departures from Bogotá at 7:35 and returns from Caracas at 11:50. The company asked to review the applicable conditions before the purchase and to keep an eye out for possible operational developments.
It should be noted that the decision to restart the route comes after Venezuelan authorities confirmed the reopening of Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport since September 1.
