Venezuelan cyclist Lilibeth Chacón, representing the BMC Patobike team, once again demonstrated her dominance on Colombian roads, taking on the jersey of leader of the Vuelta a Colombia, after winning the reigning match between Girardot and the top of the line with a final port out of the category after 4 hours 41 minutes and 8 seconds, overtaking Diana Peñuela from Sistecredit, who came in fifth at 1.24 seconds.

Antioquia's Angie Londoño, with great international projection, came third and maintained her second place in the individual standings, while the former leader was fifth. Guatemalan Yasmín Soto was second.

This Saturday, the penultimate stage starts in Armenia and closes with a second port in Santuario.
