Metro de Caracas added train number 21 to its fleet (+repowered)

The Caracas Metro added a repowered train to its fleet, reaching 21 trains operating in the underground transportation system.

The information was released by the Ministry of People's Power for Transport (Mppt) through a message posted on its Threads social network account.

“We added another repowered train to our fleet and counted a total of 21 trains in operation in the Caracas Metro, ensuring the mobility of our users,” the publication reported.

He also informed that train No. 22 is already in the testing phase with our team of specialized technicians.

In addition, he indicated that the goal for December 2025 is to have 50 trains in optimal condition, to reduce waiting times, to just 1:30 minutes.
