Minister Carlos Alvarado supervised care areas at the Ana Francisca Pérez de León II Hospital in Miranda

The Minister of Popular Power for Health and president of the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS), Carlos Alvarado, carried out an inspection of the healthcare areas of the Ana Francisca Pérez de León II Hospital, located in the Petare parish of the Sucre municipality, Miranda state.
The purpose of the tour was to evaluate the operational capacity of the institution and to verify the quality of the medical care offered to the population of the state of Miranda.
Alvarado was accompanied by the entity's single health authority, Erick Ramírez, and the hospital's management team. The holder of the health portfolio confirmed the operation of the emergency areas, operating rooms and hospital wards.
During the day, the authorities verified the inventory of medical supplies and reviewed the technical conditions of the hospital's technological equipment.
The visit made it possible to define operational measures aimed at optimizing highly complex services and strengthening hospital infrastructure.
With this territorial deployment, the National Government reaffirms direct oversight over the National Public Health System (SPNS) to guarantee free, timely and quality medical care to the Venezuelan people.
