Minister Henao highlights impact of oil agreement with the US: Investment will exceed 100 billion dollars

The Minister for Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, reported that the agreements between Venezuela and the United States consolidate cooperation ties for the development and exploitation of 17 strategic fields throughout the national territory, which will have a significant impact on the increase in oil production in the country.

“The development of these 17 fields represents the exploitation of more than 65 billion barrels of oil, with an investment of more than 100 billion dollars for the development of the fields,” said Henao.

During a telephone contact for Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Henao explained that this agreement consolidates cooperation ties for the development and exploitation of fields throughout the national territory, which will have a significant impact on all development and oil production for Venezuela.
