Ministry of Industries and Commerce strengthens ties with the automotive sector for domestic production

The Ministry of Popular Power of Industries and National Commerce held a working meeting with representatives of the national automotive sector, accompanied by directors of the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (Conindustria) and the Federation of Chambers and Companies of Venezuela (Fedeindustria).

The central axis of the meeting was to articulate strategic alliances aimed at boosting the country's productive capacity and strengthening the replacement of imports with components of domestic production.

Through social networks, the entity reported that during the day, ministerial authorities and union spokespersons evaluated mechanisms to simplify processes, chain the supply of local parts and spare parts and optimize the value chain of the automotive industry.

With this working group, the institutions involved ratified their commitment to consolidate a diversified economic model that prioritizes the consumption of what is produced in the nation, generating productive employment and boosting industrial development through “Made in Venezuela” production.
