The National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SNA) coordinated the destruction by incineration of 3,51 kilograms of cocaine at the facilities of the “Alfredo Maneiro” Siderurgica del Orinoco (SIDOR), located in the Palanquilla Plant in the state of Bolívar.
The incinerated material, in a joint effort framed in the Popular Military Police Fusion and the strengthening of the Territorial Defensive System, corresponds to seizures carried out in various procedures carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with the Public Security Agencies, under the strategic direction of the Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondon.
The procedure included representatives of the SNA, the Superior Public Prosecutor's Office and the Presidency of SIDOR.
This act effectively and efficiently completed the corresponding chain of custody of destroyed substances within the framework of the Organic Drug Law.
