Orangys Jiménez flew on the women's 100-meter track at the XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026, making a good difference from the rest of the competitors, achieving a time of 11.39 seconds and becoming the absolute champion to win the gold medal.
“Orangys Jiménez wears gold at the Santa Fe 2026 South American Games and gets his ticket to Lima 2027, a pure demonstration of Venezuelan power, discipline and pride that leaves the flag at the top of continental speed,” the sports ministry reported on its Telegram account.
