Portugal declares national mourning in memory of the victims of earthquakes in Venezuela

The Prime Minister of Portugal, Luís Montenegro, reported that the European country declared a National Day of Mourning next Sunday, July 5, in memory of the fatalities reported after the strong earthquakes that caused serious damage in Venezuela on June 24.
Through her account on the social network X, Montenegro thanked the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, for the support and humanitarian aid of the Portuguese Government.
“We are closely monitoring our teams and all the work on the ground, in permanent contact with the Venezuelan authorities,” said the prime minister,” he wrote from X.
