President (E) Rodríguez celebrates Venezuelan Gold Medal at the Central American and Caribbean Mathematical Olympiad

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the achievement of the representative of Venezuela, in the Mathematical Olympiad of Central America and the Caribbean, where he qualified as champion of the competition.

“The 14-year-old Tachirense Scientific Semillero Luis Enrique García González won the gold medal at the XXVIII Mathematical Olympiad of Central America and the Caribbean (OMCC) 2026, held in Durango, Mexico,” said the president in charge.

He added that García González represented the country with excellence in front of delegations from 14 participating nations in the region. “Congratulations to Luis Enrique for this remarkable international triumph!” , Rodríguez emphasized, in his Telegram account.
