President in Charge honors her father Jorge Antonio Rodríguez on the 84th anniversary of his birth

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, published a message this Monday to honor the memory of her father, Jorge Antonio Rodríguez, on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of his birth.

Through his Telegram channel, Rodríguez highlighted the ethical, political and human legacy of his father, whom he described as an example of daily struggle, commitment to the people and transparency in the exercise of politics.

“Jorge Rodríguez was always an example in the daily struggle, in the effort to raise awareness, in the relationship he maintained with the People, in the transparent way in which he assumed politics and in the ethical background that supported him,” he said.

He also confirmed that Jorge Rodríguez, as a socialist leader, gave his life to the fight for equality and social justice, while stressing that his “loving” example continues to accompany the Venezuelan people. “Jorge lives in the Fifth Republic and in the Bolivarian Revolution! Jorge lives in the Venezuelan people!” , he emphasized.

Jorge Antonio Rodríguez was born on February 16, 1942 in Carora, Lara state. He is remembered for his strong political militancy, his passion for life and his commitment to the revolutionary transformation of the country.
