President in Charge instructs plan for the activation of commercial flights at Simon Bolivar International Airport

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, carried out an inspection of the Simón Bolívar airport facilities in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, from where she announced that domestic and international commercial flights will use the alternate runway of this air terminal.

“We have inspected the impact and damage caused by the double earthquake on the Maiquetía runway and since we have a parallel runway that we can use, I have instructed a plan to resume as soon as possible, according to a schedule, the resumption of operations and activities of our country's commercial lines that normally had this destination,” said the president in charge.
