The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, presented this Wednesday an initiative based on four points for the construction of a new security architecture in the Middle East, aimed at promoting a common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable vision in the region.
During a bilateral meeting held with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Chinese president confirmed his Government's support for the nations of the area to develop good-neighbourly and friendly relations, strengthening the mechanisms of peaceful coexistence.
To make this proposal concrete, the Chinese leader urged the release of each country's internal driving forces, applying an integrated approach to resolving disagreements, consolidating the foundations of socio-economic development and strengthening strategic coordination at the international level.
With this approach, the People's Republic of China seeks to strengthen its role in multilateral diplomacy and contribute to the comprehensive stability of the region through mechanisms that prioritize direct dialogue and mutual benefit.
